How do I prefill forms with event-specific information?

1. Edit the form template used for the event you need to prefill

In this example, we are editing a field trip form so that we can automatically prefill the event title into the form so the signer knows which field trip the permission form pertains to. Start by clicking "Label" to add a new label to the form.

2. Click on the form where you'd like to put the label

Labels are a special field type that does not require a signer. It accepts prefill options and creates a static label that all signers can see when filling out the form. This is perfect for what we are trying to do here.

3. Choose whatever you'd like to prefill into the label

In this example, we are choosing "WBL Event Name" so that it will populate the name of the event into the field. For more information about what prefill options are available, see this article:

💡 You can also specify custom fields for events so they can be populated onto a form

4. Save the form template

5. Values will now be prefilled into the form when the enrollment or completion forms are submitted

In this example, the event title will be put into that label. Below is specifically what the event title is.
