When attempting to Sign In with Google, why do a see an error stating - Access blocked. This article is meant to guide a Google Admin through enabling access.
Why am I seeing an error message when signing in with Google?
If your Google Admin has restricted App Access Control settings defined for your domain, users may receive an error message stating, "Access blocked: Your institution's admin needs to review cte-360.com" or similar message such as "Access Blocked: Authorization Error".
How do I request access?
On the error page, the user may be given an option to Request Access. If so, click this to send a notification to your institution's Google Admin for them to allow access.
How does your Google Admin allow access?
As a Google Admin, you can see Apps Pending Review using this link: https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/list?tab=pendingReviewApps. This can also be accessed using the navigation menu under Security - Access and data control - API controls, then clicking on Manage Third-Party App Access, as shown below.
From this page, click on View list under Apps pending review. Find the entry for an app named "Jobready WBL / CTE-360" and click on Configure access.
On the next page, set the Scope to All users or a selected Organizational Unit and then click on Next.
Choose the Trusted option and optionally check the box to add our application to the Allowlist.
