Who approves industry certifications?

The users in charge of approving industry certifications will vary based on who is set as the approver type in global settings. We will go over what each of those settings mean and how it changes who is in charge of approving industry certifications.

1. Staff w/ Manage Industry Certification Progress Role

With this setting, any industry certifications submitted by students and teachers will need to be approved by a staff user with the Manage Industry Certification Progress Role. Any staff user with this role and application admins adding a new industry certification will automatically be approved when they add it.

2. Student

With this setting, all industry certifications that get uploaded will automatically be approved. This was mainly put in place for any school that does not want to use the industry certification approval process or schools that have been using industry certifications before Eduready360 implementing the approval process.

3. Teacher

With this setting, any industry certifications submitted by students will need to be approved by their teacher. Any teacher, staff user, or application admins adding a new industry certification will automatically be approved when they add it.
