Changes made to templates will create a new version of the template

When you make changes to a form template, we create a new version of that template in the background. All previously submitted forms of this type will remain on the previous version to ensure the submissions integrity. If the fields for a previous signer changed, it's impossible for us to determine if they are valid for the new version or not therefore we do not change the previously submitted forms to the new version.

What can I do to fix previously submitted forms that are still in progress?

You can do one of two things to fix your forms that are in progress that are on an old version of the template and need updated.

  • You can cancel the form and resubmit it. This will require all signers that already signed the form to resign it.

  • You can print the current PDF of the form, have the remaining signers sign in person, cancel the e-form, and upload the hand signed copy where needed in the system.
