How do I mark an employer document as "Not Required?"

There are two ways to mark an Employer Document as "Not Required." This article shows both ways to accomplish this task.

The first way to mark an Employer Document as "Not Required" is to utilize the interactive icons of a created student experience. To complete the task, follow the steps below:

1. Click Work Based Learning in the navigation menu of the application

2. Click the Needs Attention icon in a student experience that contains Employer Documents as shown below

In our example, the student Demo Five has an experience which has been associated with Employer Documents that need to be marked "Not Required." Once the icon is clicked a window will open that lists all the associated Employer Documents.

3. Click the action button for the Employer Document in the list

In our example, we are going to set the Act 114 - FBI Fingerprinting as "Not Required"

4. Click Edit in the action list

5. Click the box "Not Required" of the document window to mark the selected document as not required

6. Click Save Changes to update the status of the document

Another way to mark an Employer Document as "Not Required" is to access the Employer Contact associated with an employer. Using this approach could be useful if you want to mark the document of multiple employers. To complete the task from this perspective, follow the steps below:

1. Click Settings in the upper right corner of the Work - Based Learning management window

2. Click Employers in the expanded list

3. Click the action button associated with the employer in the Employers list

4. Click Contacts in the expanded list

5. Click the action button associated with the employer contact in the Employer Contacts list

6. Click Documents in the expanded list

7. Click the action button associated with the Employer Document in list

8. Click Edit

9. Click the box "Not Required" to mark the selected document as not required

16. Click Save Changes to update the status of the document
