How do I integration Google Classroom assignments with my tasks?

In order to integrate your Google Classroom assignments with your tasks, you must already have Google Classroom integration turned on in your instance's Global Settings.

1. Navigate to Task Progress





2. Click on Google Classroom Sync



You must have a class selected in order for this to work.



3. If Google Classroom needs authenticated, click the Google account that has your courses





4. Allow sharing of information from Google Classroom to CTE-360





5. If successful, you will get a message that says you can close the window



This will initiate the Google Classroom sync in the background. This may take a little bit of time to complete. We are syncing all courses, teachers, students, assignments, and grades from your courses in Google Classroom.



6. When the sync is complete, click the information icon above the task you'd like to allocate assignments to





7. Choose the assignments associated with the task





8. Click on Save





9. Click on OK



Now that assignments are allocated to that task, when you trigger a resync it will automatically update your student's task grade based on their score on assignments in Google Classroom. If there is more than one assignment allocated to a task, we will use the average score and determine the task grade based on your grade scale settings.

It's important to note that you must trigger a resync in order for the system to update task grades based on student assignment submissions.
