How do I create follow-up study questions?

1. Navigate to the follow-up study module

2. Click on Settings

3. Click on Questions

4. Click on New

5. Enter a question that will be used on the pre-graduation questionnaire

This question will be asked on the pre-graduation questionnaire. An example question would be "Do you plan to attend a 4-year university?"

6. Enter a question that will be used on the post-graduation questionnaire

This question will be asked on the post-graduation questionnaire. An example question would be "Did you attend a 4-year university?". This question should relate directly to the pre-graduation question from the previous step.

7. Choose the type of answer these questions will have

Text

Numeric

Dropdown

8. If you chose dropdown, add options

Click on the options selector and start typing to add available drop-down options. This list of options will be used in the drop-down when the student is completing the questionnaire.

After adding options, you will have the opportunity to reorder the options using the arrows to the left of the options and specify a code for each item for reporting purposes.

9. Choose if you'd like this question's results to be excluded from deviation metrics

All questions will be evaluated for deviation after the pre and post graduation questionnaires are completed. So, we compare the answer for each pre and post and see if they match or if they are different. We do this to all questions and give a percentage of deviation. If this question should not be included in this calculation, check this box.

10. Click on Add Follow Up Question
